I så fald skal du kontakte Big Apple Greeter, som er en frivillig, non profit organisation, der gratis tilbyder dig en lokal guide, som vil vise dig og dine rejsekammerater rundt i de knap så turistede kvarterer i NYC.

Seeing NYC
Wee are in NYC now on vacation, and we are staying till the 12th of July.
I'm a woman, 55 years old, and my daughter nearley 16 and her friend the same age.
We have rented an appartment in Guttenberg, and are visiting Manhattan as much as we can.
We would like to get to know the city in a different way than normal turists, and we think that a native newyorker could help us with that.
